In 2004, together with Rob Krul I visited the Danish Navy Diving School for the first time. We went there to take a close look at some old Rouquayrol-Denayrouze apparatus but we were also allowed to visit the old store room when ‘tons’ of Diving Antiques were piled up and collecting dust. A collectors dream but nothing was for sale. Members of the Danish Historical Diving Society now have established a beautiful exhibition with it, which was opened with a ceremony and a performance of the Danish Navy Tambour Corps. HDS member Sven Erik Jørgensen provided us with some photo’s. The museum is not open to the public, arrangements will have to be made with the Danish Navy.
