The Czech ‘DS’ helmet

With special thanks to diving equipment designer and diving historian Peter Katz.

After this first series of ‘NEMO’ helmets was manufactured, Peter Katz redesigned it and a modified version came out which was called the ‘DS’ helmet. One of its new features was the regulator Peter Katz had designed which was called the ‘Tornado’, it provided a steady airflow up to a 1000 liters per minute.
