1979 Czech army helmet ‘SP20D’
The third helmet which was built was ordered by the Czech Army. This helmet was also equipped with the ‘Tornado’ regulator as the ‘DS’ helmet. During the development of this helmet, Aquacentrum’s chief designer Peter Katz escaped from Czechoslovakia. He was helped by a Swedish company, later Peter Katz would start a new life in Australia where is is still living today ( see also the chapter ‘Australia’ on this website )
