The Czech ‘Nemo’ helmet

The first Czech helmet was built with AQUACENTRUM was called the ‘NEMO’. Bohumil Jandacek designed the mainframe, Peter Katz designed the regulator, valves, communication, all internal arrangement and the drysuit. The helmet was equipped with both a demand valve and the option to use it as a free flow helmet. The air was supplied from either the surface or from pony bottles carried at the divers back. The helmet was tested in the Black Sea for use with geological research institute in Kutna Hora. Only five units were built
